We always knew Virgil had the vision and this circumstance is no different. My personal favorite technology company, sorry apple, has taken on the task of collaborating with Off White.
The star of the collection is Teenage Engineering’s signature speaker OB-4. This isn’t your regular pickup basketball speaker. It’s a radio marvel. With the capability to rewind on live radio which I’ve have been personally very intrigued. As a fan of Triple J, a lovely Australian radio station, I wish I was able to broadcast international programs and rewind as well. Another use is to remix anything, the explanation is opaque yet leaves us to discover for ourselves. Additional features include zoning out to a drone generated by snippets of a radio broadcast, high def stereo recording, and a 30 in 1 musical mantra box.
What would an Off White collaboration be without a line of clothing to accompany it?
However in true luxury fashion fashion, yes that makes sense, the priciest piece will run you $2130(the track jacket). It’s the price we can only afford to look at. The cheapest item is the t-shirt that will equal working 35 hours at urban outfitters of $490. However, if you do plan on copping anything from this collection let me know in the comments!
My personal favorite from the bunch is the track jacket with an endless amount of pockets to hold all of the tech you can desire.
Another chipper addition to the collection is the back print of everything. It takes the traditional off-white logo and merges it with the insides of a computer. I love these kinds of touches, subtle yet distinct.
